Arrive at Kunming by train (Bullet train) or by flight. Meet & pick up by your guide and driver. Transfer to Hotel.
After breakfast at hotel，drive (about 1.5hrs/78km) to visit Stone Forest–a notable set of limestone formations. The tall Rocks seem to emanate from the ground in the manner of stalagmites, with many looking like petrified trees thereby creating the illusion of a forest made of stone. In the afternoon, drive back to Kunming city and visit the Green Lake Park.
Take the early flight to Tengchong, after arrival, transfer to Heshun Old Town and check in your hotel. After lunch, visit Heshun Old Town with the washing pavilion, Old Library, Mansion of Family Li and Baisuifang Archway. Heshun boasts many unique characteristics. Its roads are paved with paving stones whose luster after a rainfall bears witness to their antiquity. There is a terrace at the entrance of each alley, with a crescent-shaped screen wall intended to prevent good fortune and wealth from flowing away.
In the morning, drive to visit Rehai Scenic Spot, It is also used extensively in the hot spring resorts 12 kilometers to the city’s south in the area known as Rehai .Featuring more than 80 hot springs in a scenic mountain valley Rehai has more than a dozen spas and hotels with hot springs and massage treatment. After lunch, drive to visit Tengchong Volcano Park, Nicknamed a “natural volcanic geology museum”, this Park covers two main areas, including the Large Crater Peak and Small Crater Peak. From the top you could get an excellent view of the surrounding area including the nearby volcanoes.
In the morning, drive to visit Beihai Wetlands, it is another good reason to get out of the city. Roughly 12km northeast of the county seat, this area has been protected since 2004. The main reason to visit the wetlands is for the tranquil scenery, which is dominated by water and the surrounding mountains. Visitors to the wetlands can walk around on the limited walking paths or take a half-hour boat cruise through the wetlands. After lunch, drive to Baihualing and check in the local family-run guesthouse in the small village.
In the morning, get up early to hiking in the Mountain through the old Tea & horse caravan Roads and wild hot springs to see different kinds of wild and unique birds. Baihualing, close to the Nature Reserve in Gaoligong Mountain, is the paradise to birds and to the photographers. Its steepness just like the Three Gorges, the magnificent like Huangguoshu Waterfall and the quietness like Jiuzhaigou, it is the splendid place for visitor to enjoy the nature.
In the morning, drive to Dali city. After arrival, visit the local bird and flower market before transfer to your hotel. Then visit the old town of Dali, As one of China’s first 24 historic and cultural cities promulgated by the State Council in 1982, the old town of Dali also known as Yeyu or Purple Town in old times is located 13 kilometers north to Xiaguan, the capital city of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan.
In the Morning, visit the three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, which are cream-colored, delicate-looking pagodas. They are situated in the shape of a triangle. The tallest and oldest of the three was built during the reign of a king of the Nanzhao Kingdom about 1,150 years ago. Now the pagodas are the symbol of Dali. In the afternoon, drive to visit Erhaiyue Wetland Park which is one of the wetland parks of Erhai Lake, you could find some water birds and local birds in it.
Drive to visit Xizhou Morning Market and the Xizhou Old Town (you could take a cart to visit for 40 Minutes). After that, drive to Lijiang. After arrival, visit the Old Town of Lijiang and the Black Dragon Pond which is a famous pond in the scenic Jade Spring Park located at the foot of Elephant Hill, a short walk north of the Old Town of Lijiang. It was built in 1737 during the Qing Dynasty and offers a spectacular view on the region’s tallest mountain, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, over its white marble bridge.
Hiking tour to Wenhai Lake (Clients could ride a horse during the hiking): it is rarely visited. The small Naxi villages locates in this area are reminiscent of a China from many years ago and is a perfect way of seeing a more rural China. The unique climate and soil in the area nourished a variety of vegetative covers and plant species, including old-growth forests, shrubs and meadows.
Early this morning, your guide will also take you to one of the most spectacular sites of Yunnan province, the mighty Tiger Leaping Gorge (81KM/1.5H). Known to be one of the deepest canyons of the world, with a depth of approximately 3800mt, the gorge is located 60km north of Lijiang. Drive back to Lijiang after your tour.
