HiKing is the best way to find the beauty of the nature. More and More tourists know the Tiger Leaping Gorge and willing to spend time and energe to hike in it. But fewer people know about this hiking route except the locals. Here, you will go through Jinsha River, through mountains, valleys , villages and fields to meet with the splendid nature and scenery.
After breakfast, drive to Baoshan Shitoucheng, check in your home-run guesthouse, then walking down to the Jinsha River which is flowing down the village. After that, climb back and have a good rest, get ready and wait for the next day hiking tour. It means “Baoshan Baishizhai”. The local residents are all built with rocks. The walls of the city are scaled. The roadways are vertical and horizontal. Lijiang Baoshan shitoucheng is a Naxi village locates on a top of a steep mountain with cliff on all three sides, and one side is a stone slope directly inserted into the Jinsha River. There are only two stone gates in the North and South. It is a real city of natural danger.
After breakfast, take water and home-made cakes by the guesthouse with you and start your hiking tour from Shitoucheng to Liuqing Village ethrough Taiziguan. Hiking time: 6 Hours
After breakfast, continue your hiking tour to Fenke through three local villages, fields and goat groups. Hiking time: 5 Hours
After 40 minutes walking, you will arrive at the Jinsha River, where you will take a small wooden-structure boat through Jinsha River. Continue your hiking to Cuiyi Village. Hiking time: 6 Hours
After breakfast, continue your hiking tour to Yongning Village through primitive forest, running streams and villages. Hiking time: 7 Hours
The last day hiking tour from Yongning to Lige village, check in your hotel and have a good rest. Hiking time: 4 Hours
